ANGELITOS DE ORO CONTRIBUTES $170,OOO TO BBBS

TUSTIN, CALIF., January 24, 2007 – Angelitos de Oro, Big Brothers Big Sisters of Orange County’s fundraising auxiliary, has contributed $170,000 to Big Brothers Big Sisters of Orange County to support the organization’s efforts to increase the number of one-to-one mentoring matches in Orange County.

The majority of this contribution was raised through the auxiliary’s unique Angelitos Shopping Card event.  For a $50 donation to Big Brothers Big Sisters of Orange County, shoppers receive discounts at over 100 stores and restaurants at South Coast Plaza during a designated week each November. 

Since 1961, Angelitos de Oro’s charter has been to support Big Brothers Big Sisters of Orange County.  Since that time, the auxiliary has raised almost $3 million to support the agency’s mentoring programs for children in Orange County.
