Big Brothers Big Sisters Donates Bikes to Kids in Need

TUSTIN, CALIF., June 21, 2007 – Big Brothers Big Sisters of Orange County will donate 21 new bikes to Little Brothers and Little Sisters in need on Thursday, June 28, 5:30 p.m. at the Big Brothers Big Sisters office, 14131 Yorba Street, Tustin.  The “Littles” were selected based on need; many family members and Big Brothers and Big Sisters will be in attendance.

“Some of our Little Brothers and Little Sisters come from modest backgrounds and have never experienced the joy of having a new bike,” observed Gus Valdespino, CEO.  “We’re most grateful to members of our staff, volunteers and friends of the organization who contributed to the purchase of the bikes and made this bike giveaway possible.”
