BBBS WELCOMES NEW CHIEF DEVELOPMENT OFFICER

Tustin, Calif. , November 29, 2007Big Brothers Big Sisters of Orange County (BBBSOC) is pleased to welcome Lisa Wood as its new Chief Development Officer.  In this newly created position, Wood will help expand BBBSOC’s fundraising programs.

“We want to take it to the next level, and positively impact the lives of more children,” she explained.
Wood has 16 years of fundraising experience, most of which has been in the health care industry.  Most recently, she was employed for seven years with the Mission Hospital Foundation.  Among her achievements on the Foundation, she served as director of a recently completed $50 million capital campaign.

She has also worked for California State University, Fullerton and St. Jude Hospital in Fullerton.
She was pleased to be offered a position with BBBSOC: “It gives me the opportunity to make a difference in an organization that does great work.”

Wood is a Rancho Santa Margarita resident.  She is married to husband Cameron and has a son, four-year-old Seth.  Away from the office she enjoys golf, scrap booking and volunteering at her church.
