OCEAN AIR DONTATE $5,300 TO BBBSOC
TUSTIN, CALIF., October 24, 2007 – Ocean Air, Inc. (www.oceanairinc.com) in Tustin, a supplier of commercial aircraft products, has donated $5,300 to Big Brothers Big Sisters of Orange County (BBBSOC). Half the funds were proceeds from a charity golf tournament, which Ocean Air matched. Ocean Air’s president, Joe Rosselet, is a Big Brother.
“We’re very supportive of programs which help young people get on the right path in life,” Rosselet commented.
The funds will support BBBSOC’s efforts to match adult mentors with children in need. Orange County still has a need for additional mentors, as there are 120,000 single parent households, and 30,000 children living in poverty. There are also 300 children waiting to be matched. Additional Littles are welcome as well. For information about BBBSOC, visit www.bigbrooc.org or call (714) 544-7773. Office address: 14131 Yorba Street, Suite 200, Tustin, CA 92780.
50th Anniversary – Big Brothers Big Sisters of Orange County is preparing to celebrate the 50th anniversary of its founding in 2008. Former “Bigs” and “Littles” are being sought to share the story of their match. Contact Noly Guardamondo at nguardamondo@bigbrooc.org or call (714) 544-7773.
