Our Tutor Pal program matches adult volunteers to children at Remington Elementary School in Santa Ana for the duration of one academic year (October - June). Bigs and Littles get together for weekly sessions -- Tuesday afternoons between 2:30pm - 3:30pm. Each volunteer is typically matched to 2 or 3 children. During the first half-hour, volunteers assist students with their homework or reading assignments. For the remainder of the time, Bigs and Littles play board games, draw, or just sit and chat. Tutor Pal is a wonderful program geared towards improving the academic needs of students, while also creating extraordinary friendships.
